Mt. Charleston is only 45 minutes from the Las Vegas Strip. It offers beautiful hikes, mountain vistas, wild horses, elk, deer, lots of interesting birds, and even skiing and snowboarding.

Just take highway 95 north and turn left on Kyle Canyon Road aka Rt-157. Within minutes you will be among the 11,000 ft. peaks of the Spring Mountains.
